Mechanics Development

I think I can safely say I spent a significant amount of time trying to develop some mechanics that are both easy to use and engaging. I’ve done a lot of research on how the stars work and what properties influence how the others, just to end up throwing everything out the window. The final mechanics I consider are most engaging and fun to use have a much more artistic feel then what I initially had in mind: Size, Brightness and Colour.
