Design Goals

My design goals are to create a visually stunning game that allows the player to relax by using science,
to create an easy to navigate interface that can be used by everyone by strongly unifying it with the gameplay and game challenges,
and to design some easy to use and understand mechanics, yet very engaging and fun.

Major - UI/X Design

For my major, I decided to focus on UI/X design, since this is a very important part for the game. Because the game's centre of interest is creating a visually stunning and immersive experience, the UI and UX are playing a very important role. I chose this because I want to be able to not only show how the game is going to look like, but also because I want to give it a certain direction in what it should feel like, as a whole, from the opening screen to the last piece of the last story.

Minor - Mechanics

For my minor, I chose mechanics. This is because the mechanics of the game also play a very important role in the 'relaxing' experience. I wanted to design some mechanics that allow the player to not only have fun and feel creative while using them, but that also allow them to enjoy the setting.
